We are the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps -- Tampa Bay Division --
pointing future leaders in the right direction

Welcome to the Tampa Bay Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps and the United States Navy League Cadet Corps. We are the oldest USNSCC division in Florida, the most progressive, and we drill at the Naval Reserve Center at MacDill Air Force Base, as well as do the line handling for the Merchant Marine Vessel, the American Victory.

May 3 and 4, meet at the American Victory between 0700 & 0730. We will caravan to the Bayshore MacDill AFB gate since there is a 5K run that will be blocking Bayshore proper. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: If you arrive late or if we get separated, we will meet in the Base Exchange Parking Lot. Uniform for Sea Cadets will be the Navy PT shirt, shorts, and Sea Cadet Ball Cap. If you still have a Tampa Bay Polo Shirt from last year, wear that with shorts and your ball cap. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: - Officers and staff should wear the Alernative Uniform with either long Khaki pants or shorts, and ball cap. Everyone should wear very comfortable shoes, and bring lots of sun tan lotion.

- These instructions remain the same for both Saturday and Sunday. Plan on being at the Air Force Base until at least 1700.

If you haven't turned in your RFT for summer training do so as soon as possible. Summer trainings are filling up quickly. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: League & Sea Cadets have Department Of Defense ID cards and will be allowed access to MacDill AFB. Those without DOD ID or DOD vehicle decals will have to undergo a background check in order to be admitted to the base. This is the same information as required for last year's MacDill AFB AirFest. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Adults, instructors and parents, submit your full name, social security number, date of birth, driver's license number, and vehicle tag number to Mike Gurr tmgurr@gte.net as soon as possible to insure admittance to the base for drills and MacDill AFB events. Indicate your cadet's name for cross reference, as we have the information on file for the cadets.
